Great public spaces don't thrive by accident. Since becoming Columbus's first park friends organization in 1981, Friends of Schiller Park has demonstrated what community stewardship can accomplish. Alongside the City of Columbus, countless volunteers, and generous community partners, the Friends preserve the park's historic character while investing in its future.
The Friends do far more than care for a park. They help cultivate a place where history is preserved, nature flourishes, culture is celebrated, and community grows.
